(310) 567-2708

Peach Tree Pottery is celebrating 10 years in Mar Vista (West Los Angeles) with PEACHFEST, Sunday, June 14th from 11 am to 6 pm.

ART - LIVE MUSIC - FOOD - FUN!!

PEACHFEST will highlight the Pottery Work of Current Students at the Studio and a Retrospective of previous Gallery Artists (Paintings, Photography & Much More) who have shown with Peach Tree Pottery (PTP) over the past 10 years.  PTP Founder/Teacher/Ceramicist Linda Mechanic will show and sell her newest ceramic creations as well.

Friends at Studio-REV (a wonderful local recording studio) and two musicians who live on Boise Avenue are taking charge of the live music portion of the day.  Musicians who have headlined live at PTP in the past are scheduled to perform throughout the event in half-hour sets.  A complete list of performers is being updated on our website daily (go to the EVENTS page), but Billy Yates (The Outlaws/Marshall Tucker Band), Dominic Camanella (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist with The Quarter After) and Stampead are three of the amazing musical acts already committed to PEACHFEST.

Local restaurants and "foodie" friends are rounding out the celebration with great eats.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to The MS Society.

Don't miss this incredible Summer event as Artists, Musicians, Friends and Neighbors ROCK Boise Avenue!  Neighbors on Boise Avenue are arranging for the street to be blocked off between Venice Blvd. and McCune.

PEACHFEST is a "must visit" event for all fans of the arts and music and anyone looking for a Sunday filled with Summer fun and friendly folks.

 Ca Strawberry Festival
 When: Saturday & Sunday May 16,2009 & May 17,2009
Time: 10 am to 6:30 pm

An estimated 1.5 million strawberries will be consumed Festival weekend, and the best part is that the multitude of non-profit groups hosting food booths benefit with every bite from 100percent of the proceeds. Taking the new "Green Path"at the festival gives you access to resources to help you "grow in a green fashion" The festival has taken a true leadership role in striving to become a sustainable event. An extensive outreach campaign courages attendees to carpool and use the free shuttles in order to reduce the carbon footprint on our local community. This year there is even more incentive with a $5.00 parking fee for vehicles. in 2008, the City of Oxnard, awarded the Festival with the WasteWatch award for their remarkable green efforts. With live entertainment, an award-winning Fine Arts & Crafts showcase with over 300 artisans, contests, free attractions, and more the heralded weekend event has something special for everyone.
